Dear Readers,
The objective of Capital Employed has always been to help subscribers generate investment ideas.
We do this for you by interviewing fund managers and by publishing a bi-weekly newsletter which features a curation of stock pitches from both professional and private investors.
In our ongoing efforts to make Capital Employed even more useful we are launching a new section on the site for paid subscribers called Quarterly Letters.
Quarterly Letters ✍️
As the name suggests this newsletter/section will feature a curation of quarterly letters from active stock picking fund managers.
This will help you keep track of what professional investors are doing/thinking all in one easy to access place.
If you’re a fund manager and want your letter included please let us know.
Subscription Price Increase
On 8th April the price of the Capital Employed newsletter will be increasing from $15 to $20 for a monthly subscription, and from $150 to $200 for an annual subscription.
Existing subscribers will not be affected by the price increase and will be grandfathered in at their current rate.
If you want to lock in a lower rate then consider becoming a paid subscriber before 8th April.
Stock Pitches Being Paywalled 🔒
After 28 editions we have decided to make the bi-weekly Stock Pitches newsletter available to paid subscribers only.
Paid subscribers will now receive…
20+ Fund Manager Interviews per year
24 Stock Pitches newsletter per year (roughly 360 ideas)
4 Quarterly Letters curation newsletter per year
Thanks for your support
We have subscribers from around the world who enjoy consuming our content.
This includes fund managers, analysts, family offices, and other institutions. We have many individual investors and students who enjoy the content too.
If you’ve not done so already we hope you consider becoming a paid subscriber to get all the full benefits (and a shedload of stock ideas too).
To be honest, there are several services compiling stock pitches from other Substacks. What would make this activity most valuable is if we could gain access to those pitches, which you include in your curation, but which are locked to non paying subscribers. Some sort of reciprocity. You are providing some publicity for those writers. They unlock their piece to your subscribers. Not sure if this is even possible through Substack. This is what I actually thought I was going to get when I became a paying member. I ended up canceling. Otherwise, the pitches for several ideas are not even available to us. thanks
